Summer 2024 • Hybrid
- Built a production-grade vector search system over SharePoint repositories using OpenAI, Hugging Face, and ChromaDB.
- Designed the ingestion pipeline with OCR for image-based PDFs and delta updating to index only modified subfolders/files.
- Implemented delta logic from scratch to reduce update time and optimize large-scale document vectorization.
- Integrated a ChatGPT-powered chatbot that returns semantic matches with full file metadata and exact SharePoint location.
- Enabled human-style search, for example, “I remember what they looked like, not their name” — the system can return matches based on described context (e.g. medical records with facial resemblance).
